WaiBOP United head coach Peter Smith has named a large squad to take to Cambridge for Saturday’s exhibition game against a combined Waikato/Bay of Plenty All Stars selection.
He’ll name his starting line-up from a squad of 20 players named after yesterday evening’s training session. Kick-off is at 2.30pm kick off at John Kerkhof Park.
United and the All Stars both trained at Cambridge this week in the build up to the match, and all tomorrow’s players were involved in last weekend’s double-header which saw a WaiBOP United warm-up game, followed by the All Stars clash won 3-2 by the Bay of Plenty team.
Hosts Cambridge FC have hired two temporary grandstands for tomorrow’s match. Entry and parking is free.
