WaiBOP United is pleased to announce the signing of Dylan Stansfield (pictured right) and Van Elia (pictured left) for the remainder of the 2014/15 ASB Premiership season.
Stansfield has ASB Premiership experience with both Canterbury United, for whom he played during the first half of this season, and Waitakere United. Stansfield scored Canterbury’s second in our 2-0 loss on the opening day of the 2014/15 season.
Hailing from Wellington, Elia is a creative attacking talent who was part of the New Zealand Under-20 side at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Head coach, Peter Smith, is pleased to have both players join his squad. “Dylan and Van are both hungry young players who will add a bit of quality and depth to the squad,” said Smith. “They’re great lads who will do a good job for us in the attacking third of the pitch.”
