» Hawke’s Bay Utd 1-3 WaiBOP Utd – ASBYL

The Bay SportsMed WaiBOP United Youth Team has secured their second win of the season, and their first on the road, following this fine win in Napier.

We took a 2-1 lead into the break courtesy of goals from Xavier Pratt and Jama Boss, his third in three games since coming back from injury. A third insurance goal came from Jono Viviani after the break.

The win has lifted the side to within a point of second on the table. We sit just behind Waitakere United, who beat Auckland United 4-2 today. Auckland City are run-away leaders having carried a 100% record through six rounds so far.
